AN INTRODUCTION TO UMPIRING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN GLOUCESTERSHIRE

A short course, entirely outside, for young people aged between 13 and 16 who may be interested in finding out more about the roles and key parts of the laws and about umpiring and scoring opportunities. The course is organised and delivered by Gloucestershire Association of Cricket Officials (GACO)

After this you will be eligible to support in the Dynamos programme as well as umpire and score at your club or school’s junior matches.

· FRIDAY APRIL 9TH 2021 10am – 2pm at HATHERLEY & REDDINGS CC, CHELTENHAM

· FRIDAY APRIL 16TH 2021 10am – 2pm at KINGSWOOD SCHOOL, BATH

The course is free with just 20 places available on each day. It is open to both boys and girls. Participants will be given items to take home to help them on their officiating journey. Bring your own food and drink.
